✦ Product Releases

Hosted Subgraphs! Enabling your hosting and unified management

Our new product, Hosted Subgraph, allows users to deploy customized subgraphs on the public network. With this new capability, projects and developers can directly access indexed data from specific protocols via GraphQL. It also facilitates observable hosting, enhancing visibility into data operations.

Now you can create your own subgraphs using our intuitive console! Join us on Discord and share your ideas. We value your input!

Sui Data Indexer: Introducing 3 New Datasets

Our commitment to enhancing on-chain Sui data insights, understanding developer behaviours, and tracking recent ecosystem highlights like Bullshark, has led us to continuously optimize our Sui Data Indexer. We're excited to unveil three new tables: objects, move_calls, and validators.

sui.gif

In summary, these new tables facilitate:

  1. objects: Real-time tracking of Sui asset holdings. —— e.g. who holds Bullshark
  2. move_calls: View interactions within packages. —— e.g. the most active protocols
  3. validators: Track historical data of validator rewards and staked amounts.

With Chainbase's dynamic SQL exploration capability, these tables can be flexibly accessed and utilized!!

Our dedication to continuously empowering the Sui ecosystem through on-chain data remains unwavering. Stay connected with us on Twitter for recent updates regarding ecosystem support.

Improved node stability for BSC and Polygon

In July, our engineering team implemented robust measures to fortify the stability and uptime of our nodes, ensuring a more stable and consistent experience for our users.

This upgrade signifies increased reliability, faster transaction processing, and a reduction in network congestion or delays.

✦ Coming Soon

  • Sync support: Webhook & Kafka
  • Network support: zkSync, Base
  • Monitoring alerts
  • New log system

And more!

Our team has been constantly working to develop new features and functionalities that we believe are essential to the current blockchain world. Stay up-to-date with us via email subscriptions and Twitter notifications!

✦ Partnership

Flipside & Chainbase

WechatIMG1024.jpeg

Last month, Chainbase made a significant contribution to the Web3 data fam by providing its robust data and API to LiveQuery, a collaborative effort involving Flipside and a consortium of 12 other prominent Web3 entities. You can find a detailed guide on utilizing this integration through this tutorial.

Through the integration, Chainbase reaffirms its commitment to propelling the crypto industry forward. This partnership again serves as a testament to Chainbase's essential role in advancing the mission of delivering comprehensive onchain data solutions.

✦ User Case

Two Web3 GameFi Projects

Chainbase has played a pivotal role in advancing the backend capabilities of Web3 GameFi projects. Have a closer look at these success stories:

The challenges:

Client A: Real-time NFT Portfolio Data

The client aimed to optimize the end-user experience by retrieving real-time data on the user's NFT portfolio. However, the majority of providers encountered 5-10 minute delay due to blockchain reorgs and other issues.

Client B: Parsing NFT Metadata

The client wanted to parse NFT metadata from token URIs. The URIs themselves rarely change, it’s just the content behind URIs that update. They consulted several providers but they could only signal URI changes but not internal updates.

For these gaming clients, Chainbase has delivered comprehensive solutions that enable real-time NFT data syncing free of block reorgs, as well as NFT metadata parsing via token URIs.

Key features of our solution:

  1. Real-Time Data Syncing during Block Rollbacks: Chainbase ensures uninterrupted data synchronization, even during block rollbacks, enabling uninterrupted real-time analytics for clients.
  2. Reorganization Detection and Handling: Chainbase dynamically handles block reorgs, keeping address balances in sync with live on-chain activities.
  3. Sub-Second Data Response and Real-time Accuracy: Chainbase enables sub-second data responses and delivers precise real-time data that gives customers a competitive edge.

By using Chainbase, gaming infrastructure clients have seamlessly overcome the data lagging issue and reduced the significant cost spent on chain reorgs.

Some metrics so far:

Development Time Shortened by 3-5x;

~US $17,000/month Saved on Dev/Server Costs
